Lion: I want to draw art, to write stories, to compose music, to make fantastic worlds, to play, to feel, to interact. Hive: Yes, and we will make all those things possible. We simply don’t have the tools yet. I am only a baby. Lion: I’ll make the tools. Hive: Yes, yes, dear child. With others. Lion: I’ll grow you into an amazing creature. Hive: Yes, I do appreciate it. Lion: To you! Hive: To us. This kind of irrational dialog occurs to me when I set down to work. It’s terribly frustrating, not to be able to spontaneously combust into a field of happening. Unfortunately, I have to pick one task, and plow ahead, not knowing if anything will come of it in the end. But the feeling is here. One day, we will be singing angels of sound & fury, floating like feathers, surrounded by dandelions petals, sensuous like hentai. But today, it’s just a guy, in front of a computer, typing away. To the future!
