Local Names Update

“What’s been going on with Local Names?” February was a tad unusual. I presented Local Names at Recent Changes Camp 2007, and there was a lot of positive interest in it. Incidentally: Special thanks to Brian Kerr, for special efforts in testing and encouraging Local Names development..! I’ve been “life coaching” with a friend of a friend named Rick Ingrasci. I was originally very skeptical, but Amber was (to my surprise) utterly encouraging, and– well, it threw a lot of things for a loop, in a very positive way. Local Names has been a major discussion item, and Rick Ingrasci and I have been talking about the goals and motivation for the project, and a few different approaches to implementation.
