Rules by Sakura Kimbro-Juliao (age 5) and Lion Kimbro (dad, age 29.) Lion’s role was only to give some more specific shape to some of her rules, and to say “no” to more outlandish rules. The title comes from Sakura’s funny way of saying, “Carcassonne.”
Ordinary Carcassonne, WITH the River Expansion, AND one (1) six-sided (6-sided) die, AND TWO (2) ADDITIONAL RULES.
Additional Rule #1: “The Swimmer.” You can put a guy down, (upright, but with his head and one arm touching the ground, not his two feet) on a river square. You cannot put a swimmer adjacent (vertically, horizontally, or diagonally) from another swimmer. The swimmer earns points whenever an adjacent guy (vertically, horizonal, or diagonally) earns points: You effectively get double-points for all earnings next to a swimmer. Swimmers are ONLY removed from the board, at the end of the game, (like farmers,) and do not earn any points in themselves. Additional Rule #2: “Dice, and Two Men.” At the start of a turn, you role the 6-sided die. Then, you pull (still faced down!) the number of tiles you rolled. So if you rolled three (3), you pick THREE tiles. But don’t at them! Then, you play them, one at a time, as per normal rules. You play ALL of them, in your turn. But only at a time– and you can’t can’t peek. One by one. You can place TWO GUYS in your turn! You can play them both on a single tile play (ie, put a farmer on either side of a road,) or just one on a single tile that (ie, put a thief on the road,) but you ONLY get two guys, for your ENTIRE turn– NOT two per tile play! Your turn contains ALL of your tile plays, the tile plays in number of the tiles you drew, the die roll you rolled [..]
