We left Limerick and went to look at Bunratty castle and the surrounding buildings. The castle itself was so full of people I had a hard time enjoying myself. The dungeon looked dreadful. The castle had basically one big hall per floor, four corner towers full of little bedrooms, private chapels, stairs, murder holes, peep holes, a confusing mess of tiny passages that would turn any fighting into a bloody mess [..]
